Carnival for a Cure

The Stephenville Lions Club is always proud to partner with organizations and groups to better our community. This weekend, be sure to check out Carnival for a Cure.

Organized by Megan Ford, project manager with the BSG Status of Women, the cancer society’s fundraiser will take place at the Stephenville Lions Club from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24.

This is going to be a great family fun day to raise money for a wonderful cause. The event will feature games, food, a silent auction and music with the admission at the door a donation of a person’s choice.

With the weather getting colder, why not warm up to a day of fun with your family while supporting a cause that hits close to everyone.

Bingo this Sunday, Nov. 1

Stephenville Lions Club will be partnering with the Bay St. George Mi’kmaq Cultural Revival Committee to host a Bingo this Sunday, Nov. 1 at 2 pm. Funds raised will assist with BSG Annual Powwow 2016 in Flat Bay.

This will be an indoor/outdoor bingo with cash prizes. Come join us at the Stephenville Lions Club for an enjoyable afternoon while supporting a local event.

Hope to see you there!
